We are S.Wales’s largest independent carpet & flooring company originally established in 1980. We now have 4 stunning showrooms in Wellfield rd Cardiff, Llandaff , Caerphilly & Penarth town centres. We supply & fit all types of carpets & flooring.
Our Story
Quality Carpets & Flooring is owned by Richard , Jamie & Alan Price. We have been supplying and fitting carpets & flooring since 1980 in our original store called Piccadilly Carpets based in Caerphilly.
In 2010 we launched Quality Carpets Direct and opened our 2nd store in Wellfield rd in Cardiff. A few years later we opened in Penarth & in May 2023 we opened our 4th store in the beautiful , historic village of Llandaff in Cardiff. We have a purpose built warehouse taking all our deliveries with a large cutting area in Taffs Well.
In 2023 we changed our trading name to Quality Carpets & Flooring to reflect the many different types of floors that we now sell and to remind people that we are not just a carpet shop !

Our Floors
We fit all types of carpets and flooring but we are experts in supplying and fitting products that many local companies can’t.
We excel in the supply & fitting of Sisal, Jute and Natural Flooring. Bespoke runners that we cut , shape and edge to fit any room or stairway. We fit runners and rugs from Crucial Trading, Alternative Flooring and Roger Oates or can make any carpet in our stores into any size rug or runner .
We fit Laminate, Oak Hard Wood floors from Woodpecker and Luxury Vinyl Tiles (LVT) floors from Amtico , Karndean & Invictus.
All our fitting is guaranteed using expert independent teams with many years experience. All flooring fitters are self employed but we guarantee all their work so you have piece of mind when shopping with us that all the work will be of the highest standard and fully guaranteed to be perfect at the time of fitting and long into the future.
Supporting Local High Streets & Clubs
We believe in the importance of shopping locally and being active members of the community. Thriving high streets are vital to the health of local areas and all our shops are in the main high streets rather than trading estates on the outskirts.
